Patroclus being a noble comrade and warrior.

Being noble is like being a hero. And what does hero do? Protecting people.

I absolutely agree that Patroclus is a noble comrade and warrior when he fought for his kingdom, for his people. He went to Achilles and told Achilles that he's crying for the wounded Greeks. Achilles again explains his resent against Agamemnon and his determination to keep his promise not to rejoin the battle when it reached his own ships. But since the fight is near, he'll let Patroclus wear his helmet and armor to scare the Trojans and win honor for Achilles, and get Briseis and other gifts for Achilles. He fought with Hector, and all Hector knew that he was fighting with Achilles and took the fight seriously and when Hector killed his foe, he took off Patroclus' helmet and found out that his rival was Patroclus not Achilles.

Base on the story, we definitely proven that Patroclus is really a noble comrade and warrior, he pretended that he was Achilles and scare the Trojans just for the injured Greek Soldiers. He didn't hesitate to fight Hector with courage and for the honour of his homeland.
